28 bath companies checked: not one page can book a time

We opened 28 bath companies' ads the way a homeowner would. 21 Re-Bath units and seven independents. Not one page lets you pick a time. No date field, no time field, no scheduler. In a business whose product is an appointment.

What we checked, and how

Between 26 August and 6 September 2026 we opened 28 bath companies in Meta's public ad library. We tapped the ad and landed where a homeowner lands. 21 of them were Re-Bath units. Seven were independents. We opened two Bath Fitter pages as well.

We submitted no enquiry and we called nobody. Everything below is what any homeowner sees.

Not one page can book a time. No date field. No time field. No scheduling tool of any kind.

The button says book. The page cannot.

One independent runs 28 ads that say "Book now". Its page asks for a first name, a last name, a phone and an email, then a button that says "Get started". There is no date field and no time field anywhere on it.

Another runs four ads. One carries Meta's "Book now" button. Same kind of page, same result.

So a homeowner taps a button that promises a booking and arrives somewhere he can only leave a number. Then he waits.

Meta reads that button too. "Book now" tells Meta to go and find people who book. The page cannot take a booking, so the only thing Meta ever gets back is a form fill. You asked for one kind of customer and taught the machine another.

"Learn more" buys you the cheaper click

Across the 21 Re-Bath units, 14 ran "Learn more" as the button on most of their ads. Seven ran "Get offer".

"Learn more" tells Meta to find people who click. Not people who book.

Your page asks for a consultation. Your ad is buying a cheaper event than the one you sell, and your cost per lead looks good because of it.

What the page asks for instead

Across the 21 units we found six different sets of form fields. Eight units run the most common one:

City. Email. Phone. State. Tell us about your project. Zip Code.

The other five sets add a name, or an Instagram handle, or a comments box. Not one of the six carries a date. Not one carries a time.

So the click becomes a form. The form becomes a callback. The callback becomes a booking, if somebody answers and if the homeowner picks up. Every step in that chain loses people, and none of the steps show up in the ad account.

Twenty-one units, one page

The 21 Re-Bath units run the same template. Same fields, same flow, same missing scheduler.

That is not 21 mistakes. It is one decision, taken once, that every unit in the system inherits.

A unit that cannot change its own page cannot fix this on its own either. That is worth knowing before you spend another month blaming the leads.

The whole trade, counted

We count every bath company advertising on Meta in America, every week, and we publish how. In the week of 4 September 2026 the count was 118 companies running 3,225 live ads.

Run Meta's "Book now" button on the ad7

So the promise is nearly universal. Seven companies go further and put Meta's "Book now" button on the ad, which tells a homeowner he is about to pick a time.

Two of the 28 pages we opened run that button. Neither of them can hold a time. The button is the promise; the page is whether you keep it.

The page you are on can

Seven of 118 hold a time. This site is one of them.

Go to the front page and scroll to the bottom. The grid there is live, on a real calendar, in your time zone. Pick a Tuesday and it holds while you type. Nothing about it is a mockup.

That is the same booking page we install on a client's own domain, under their own name and their own number. It is the one thing here you do not have to take our word for, so take two minutes and try to break it.

What the gap costs you

A held time and a promised callback are not the same thing, and the difference shows up twice.

It shows up at the click. A homeowner who was ready to pick a slot leaves a number instead, and then the two of you have to find each other on the phone.

It shows up again at the visit. A time the homeowner picked himself sits on his own calendar. A time a call centre gave him sits on someone else's.

Both ends come out of the same budget. You paid full price for that lead either way.

What one missed estimate costs you

Your page may be the exception

Seven of 118 are. Yours could be one of them, and if it is, this post costs you two minutes to prove.

The check is the same one we ran, and you can run it on your own ad without asking anyone.

Do this before the week is out

Open your own ad on your phone. Tap the button, exactly the way a homeowner would.

Then try to book next Tuesday at half past ten.

If you cannot do it, neither can he. Then go and count last month's booked estimates and mark which ones actually happened.

Questions owners ask

Which companies did you check?

21 Re-Bath units and seven independent bath remodelers, plus two Bath Fitter pages. We name Re-Bath because the finding is about the brand's page template, which is public, and not about any one unit. We do not name the independents. Every page was open to anyone on the date we checked it.

Is a form really worse than a booking page?

Not yet proven by us, and we will say so until a client has run both. What we can show today is the chain: a form adds a callback between the click and the booking, and the ad platform never learns that the booking happened. A page that holds a real time removes the step and sends the booking back to the ad that paid for it.

My page has a chat widget. Does that count?

Only if it puts a real time on a real calendar and holds it. A widget that collects a number and promises a call back is the same callback with a friendlier face. The test is whether a homeowner can leave your page knowing the day and the hour.

I am a franchise and I cannot change the page. What now?

Ask your franchisor what it would take to add a scheduler, and get the answer in writing. Meanwhile the ad and the number are usually yours, so the button on the ad is something you can fix this afternoon. "Learn more" is costing you the wrong click.

How do I know you did not just fill in the form and see?

Because we did not. We submitted no enquiry on any of the 28 pages and we called none of the numbers. The finding is what the page offers a visitor, which anyone can check in a browser, on the dates listed at the top.

How the money works

  • Priced on appointments, not clicks. A monthly fee against a number of confirmed appointments we agree from your calendar and your last ninety days. A month under that number costs nothing.
  • Your ad spend stays on your card, in your ad account. We never touch it, and we never own your account, your page or your number.
  • One bath remodeler per metro. No annual contract, thirty days either way.
