We opened every bath landing page in America

You pay for the click. Then a page you have not looked at in a year decides whether it was worth it.

We count every bath company advertising on Meta in America every week. This week that was 216 companies running 4,389 live ads. This week we took the link on each company's ads, opened it on a phone, and timed it.

224 companies sent us somewhere. Here is what we found.

44 of them never leave Facebook

44 companies point their ads at a Facebook or Messenger link. Between them that is 971 live ads.

The homeowner taps, and lands back on Facebook. No page of yours. No phone number of yours. No calendar.

Sometimes that is on purpose, and a Messenger thread is the plan. Often it is a page that was never built.

The median page took 6.4 seconds to load

180 companies sent us to a real website. 177 of those answered. Three never did.

Base: 177 pages that answered, opened once each on a phone profile, 15 September 2026.

Three seconds is the number every speed tool in the industry treats as the line. 176 of 177 pages are over it.

Your click is bought and paid for before the page starts loading. Every second after that, you are paying to watch people leave.

26 of them open with a quiz

26 pages start by asking the homeowner questions. What room. What size. What budget. Then a name, then a phone number, then a promise that someone will call.

A quiz is not always wrong. It filters. But you built it to filter, and it also filters out people who would have bought.

64 of the 177 pages show no phone number at all. A homeowner who wants to speak to you right now has nowhere to tap.

Three pages out of 177 can hold a time

This is the number we came for.

172 pages have a form. Fill it in and you wait. Three pages let a homeowner pick a day and a time before she leaves.

Five more ran their form inside something we cannot see into, and three never answered at all. We count all eight as unknown, not as no.

So somewhere between 3 and 11 companies out of 180 can take an appointment on the page. The rest collect a name and call back.

What the gap between the two costs

160 of the 177 pages promise a free estimate. Three can book one.

Every hour between the form and your call is an hour she spends on the next three companies. She booked her dentist at 11pm on a Sunday. She is waiting on you until Tuesday.

What this does not tell you

We opened one page per company, once. A company may run other pages we did not see. A page that was slow on Sunday may be quick on Monday.

What we can say is what a homeowner met on the day we looked, on the link the company's own ads pointed at. The method and every row are public, and we correct them in public when we get one wrong.

What to do this week

Open your own ad. Tap your own link on your own phone, on mobile data, not office wifi.

Count the seconds. Then count the taps before a homeowner can say "Thursday at 2".

If the answer is that she cannot, you are buying clicks and paying for them to wait.

How the money works

  • The next two clients are free for thirty days. No setup fee, no retainer, no contract. We want the case study more than a fee we have not earned yet, and we say so.
  • Your ad spend stays on your card, in your ad account. We never touch it, and we never own your account, your page or your number. It runs alongside whatever is working, never instead of it.
  • One bath remodeler per metro. Stop on any day and keep the booking page, the number and everything it collected.
